His work in the industry has focused on customary practices, standard of care, tractor-trailers, and compliance and safety training and practices for drivers, motor carriers, warehouses and forklifts. He received his certificate in traffic & transportation law & management from the University of Virginia and is active in his field as a member of the Association of Transportation Law Professionals and the Cardinal Criminal Justice Academy. He is certified by the Department of Transportation as a breath alcohol technician and factory authorized calibration technician, by OSHA as a train the trainer in forklift safety, and by FEMA through their emergency management institute. This expert has 50 years of experience in the field of transportation engineering, focused on pavement design and construction for airports, seaports, and highways. He earned his BS in civil engineering from the City College of New York and licensed as a professional engineer in multiple states. As a consultant he has performed project management, pavement evaluation and design, and forensic studies for over 700 projects at approximately 200 airports throughout the United States and 22 locations internationally including major international airports such as JFK, Washington-Dulles, and Chicago O’Hare. Prior to his position as a consultant, he worked with the FAA as a project engineer and pavement engineer of the Eastern region, as well as the chief engineer of the Washington Airports District Office, where he was involved in the research and development program focused on airport pavements. Currently, he is the president of an engineering firm that works on large scale airport and highway construction throughout the world.

This expert has nearly a decade of experience in railroad operations and safety. He is a member of both the United Transportation Union and American Corporate Partners. Formerly, he served as a railway conductor and railway crew manager at BNSF Railway, as well as a regional safety manager at Rescar. He has also served as the senior manager of operations and vice president of railway operations at Railway Safety Consultants, LLC, where he led international railway operations in performance metrics, training standards, auditing, and government compliance. Currently, this expert is the chief operating officer at an international railway consultancy.

He is certified by the National Association of Safety Professionals and the North American Transportation Management Institution. He earned his B.S. in Aeronautical Studies and Airport Management from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University and his Master of Public Administration in Organizational Management from Golden Gate University, and then proceeded to hold positions with Sky Harbor International Airport, Tampa International Airport, and Gainesville Regional Airport. More recently, the expert was the Director of Operations for Birmingham International Airport, the Deputy Airport Director for Raleigh-Durham International Airport, and the Vice President of Operations at Doha and Hamad International Airports in Qatar. He is now an airport operations consultant specializing in operational concepts and new Terminal Readiness for airports/airlines and aviation planning/design firms.
