Michigan department of transportation expert witnesses bring MDOT, civil engineering, and traffic safety experience to roadway and bridge matters statewide. Many have backgrounds in pavement design, winter maintenance, and work-zone operations shaped by Michigan’s freeze-thaw cycles and heavy freight corridors around Detroit and the I-75/I-94 network. They evaluate standards compliance, crash causation, signage and signal timing, and infrastructure condition.
