This highly-qualified expert has 20+ years of experience in the occupational safety industry both as an educator and consultant in the field. She has 20 years of experience in safety management, 16 years in safety consulting, and 20 years of teaching safety courses at top ranking accredited Universities. She has a Masters from Indiana University in Occupational Health and Safety and a B.S. in Safety Management from Indiana University. She is licensed in Accident, Health, and LIfe Insurance, and is a member of the American Society of Safety Engineers, the National Safety Council Defensive Driving International Executive Board and the Indiana State University Safety and Health Advisory Board. She is currently the Director of Academics and an Adjunct Professor teaching safety courses for a top ranked University, and is an OSHA/Safety Consultant with an industry-leading safety and training consulting firm.

He has 8 Publications and is currently a Structural Design and Forensic Engineer at an engineering firm in the southeast. This expert earned his BS in Management Science from Virginia Tech and Executive Graduate Program College of Insurance. This expert also has a number of certifications including certification as a Certified Builders Insurance Agent, certification by the College of Insurance, and certification by the National Safety Council. He is licensed as a Property and Casualty Agent and a Life and Health Agent in North Carolina. In addition, he is the Vice Chairman of the Safety Council of North Carolina. A member of the American Society of Safety Engineers, he earned his Bachelor's degree in Risk Management and Insurance and MBA from the University of Georgia.

He earned his BA in emergency and disaster management from American Public University and his MBA in finance from Columbia Southern University. He is active in his field as a member of several organizations, including the International Association of Emergency Managers and the North Carolina State Firemen's Association. He has formerly served as the safety director for Lakey's Backhoe Service and senior captain of the Kannapolis Fire Department. Currently, this expert is the deputy chief of a North Carolina fire department, as well as the safety officer for a North Carolina county department.
