This expert in traffic accident reconstruction has over 35 years of experience as a traffic and transportation engineer. He received his BS in traffic and transportation engineering from the University of Belgrade, his MS in civil engineering from the University of Zagreb, and his PhD in traffic and transportation engineering from the University of Zagreb. He has published four textbooks and over 60 professional publications on topics in transportation engineering. Formerly, he has served as a roadway specialist at the Tennessee Department of Transportation and a transportation planner at Gary Struthers Associates. In addition, this expert has held roles as a leading traffic engineer at CHS Consulting Group and a dean and professor in the college of engineering at Pan-European University. Currently, he is a program and project manager at a major transportation department.

This expert has 50 years of experience in the field of transportation engineering, focused on pavement design and construction for airports, seaports, and highways. He earned his BS in civil engineering from the City College of New York and licensed as a professional engineer in multiple states. As a consultant he has performed project management, pavement evaluation and design, and forensic studies for over 700 projects at approximately 200 airports throughout the United States and 22 locations internationally including major international airports such as JFK, Washington-Dulles, and Chicago O’Hare. Prior to his position as a consultant, he worked with the FAA as a project engineer and pavement engineer of the Eastern region, as well as the chief engineer of the Washington Airports District Office, where he was involved in the research and development program focused on airport pavements. Currently, he is the president of an engineering firm that works on large scale airport and highway construction throughout the world.

This expert is a certified Director of Safety through the National Committee for Motor Fleet Supervisory Training. He has won a number of awards and is widely recognized in the industry as a leading subject matter expert. He has held numerous top level positions in fleet management, trucking, industry safety, and driver resources. The expert has also been on the boards of several safety committees such as Professional Truck Driving Institute; Truckload Carriers Association Safety Group and American Trucking Association Council of Safety Supervisors.

This expert is a nationally renown expert in automotive engineering and currently is Professor of Mechanical Engineering at a top ten automotive design and engineering school, where he also holds the position of Director of Center for Vehicle Systems and Safety and the Railway Technologies Laboratory. This expert is the founding director of the Virginia Institute for Performance Engineering and Research and the Advanced Vehicle Dynamics Laboratory. He has authored more than 200 technical publications, and has made more than one hundred technical presentations in topics related to advanced technologies for ground vehicles. He holds seven U.S. and international patents, and has edited three technical volumes.
