This expert is a nationally renown expert in automotive engineering and currently is Professor of Mechanical Engineering at a top ten automotive design and engineering school, where he also holds the position of Director of Center for Vehicle Systems and Safety and the Railway Technologies Laboratory. This expert is the founding director of the Virginia Institute for Performance Engineering and Research and the Advanced Vehicle Dynamics Laboratory. He has authored more than 200 technical publications, and has made more than one hundred technical presentations in topics related to advanced technologies for ground vehicles. He holds seven U.S. and international patents, and has edited three technical volumes. He is currently Associate Editor of AIAA Journal and the journal of Shock Vibration, and has served as Associate Editor for ASME Journal of Vibration and Acoustics. He earned his PhD in Mechanical Engineering at State University of New York at Buffalo.

He is a member of the American Society of Transportation and Logistics, and has published several papers on trucking manuals. He is the former Traffic Manager for IBM and is a current consultant for a private consulting firm.

She received her AAS in business administration from Erie Community College before earning her BS in business administration and marketing from the State University of New York at Fredonia. This expert holds a CDL Class A license and is certified as a director of safety and driver trainer. She is active in her field as a member of several associations, including the North American Trucking Management Institute, the American Trucking Association, and the Owner Operator Independent Drivers Association. She has formerly worked as a driver for multiple companies over the course of her career, including Consolidated Freightways, Roadway Express, Midland Asphalt Materials, and Ron Hartman Trucking, where she also served as a manager. Currently, this expert serves as a driver, trainer, and safety director of a trucking company in Pennsylvania and runs her own transportation and trucking safety consulting firm.

This expert has 50 years of experience in the field of transportation engineering, focused on pavement design and construction for airports, seaports, and highways. He earned his BS in civil engineering from the City College of New York and licensed as a professional engineer in multiple states. As a consultant he has performed project management, pavement evaluation and design, and forensic studies for over 700 projects at approximately 200 airports throughout the United States and 22 locations internationally including major international airports such as JFK, Washington-Dulles, and Chicago O’Hare. Prior to his position as a consultant, he worked with the FAA as a project engineer and pavement engineer of the Eastern region, as well as the chief engineer of the Washington Airports District Office, where he was involved in the research and development program focused on airport pavements. Currently, he is the president of an engineering firm that works on large scale airport and highway construction throughout the world.
