California occupational therapy expert witnesses assess functional capacity, rehabilitation plans, and standards of care across acute care, outpatient, and school-based settings. Many are licensed OTs with backgrounds in hand therapy, neurorehabilitation, ergonomics, and return-to-work programs tied to California’s workers’ compensation system. They commonly evaluate ADL limitations, treatment appropriateness, workplace accommodation needs, and long-term disability impacts.
