Vascular Neurology Expert Witnesses in Rhode Island

For nearly a decade, this expert was a nurse practitioner on the neurology team, a neurology clinical specialist and the Stroke Program Coordinator at two mid-sized regional hospitals. She is a fellow of the Society of Vascular and Interventional Neurology and has served on multiple committees. She has published 155+ peer-reviewed journal articles, abstracts, book chapters, and electronic publications. She has lectured multiple times nationally. She is currently an Associate Professor of Neurology, Neurosurgery, and Radiology at a major medical center. She is also the director of interventional neurology and neuroradiology as well as the program director for endovascular surgical neuroradiology at a major university medical center.

This qualified expert received his BS from The University of Northern Colorado and his MD from The Mayo Clinic School of Medicine. He graduated with the highest honors from medical school and residency. He is board certified in Neurology and is a current fellow in neuroimmunology at several prestigious hospitals in Boston. He has authored over twenty peer-reviewed articles, ten book chapters and given many presentations on various topics in neurology.

He earned his BS neurobiology from the University of California, Davis and his MD and PhD in anatomy and neurobiology at Boston University. He completed his internship, his residency in pediatrics, and his fellowship in pediatric neurology at the Children's National Medical Center. This expert is board certified in neurology with a subspecialty in child neurology and is active in his field as a member of the American Academy of Neurology, the Child Neurology Society, and the American Academy of Pediatrics. He formerly served as a clinical instructor of child neurology at Boston University.
