This expert is a Licensed Professional Engineer and a Certified Professional Traffic Operations Engineer with over 30 years experience in civil and traffic engineering, land planning and project management. His expertise includes public transport, transportation management, DOT regulations, and driver and safety training. He formerly worked as Assistant General Manager for New York City Transit, where he managed training of employees including drivers. This expert has presented at the National Safety Council Congress, the National Association for Pupil Transportation Conference, STN Western States Conference, the Mid-America Conference, National Head Start Association, Southeastern States Pupil Transportation Conference, Northeastern Pupil Transportation Safety Institute, Association for School Business Officials International, the All-Canada Conference, and numerous state conferences. He has developed manuals, training programs, and consulting services serving several states and some of the largest fleets in the country.

This subway operations expert served as a motorman/train operator for the New York City Transit Authority's subway system for almost 30 years. He is proficient in the operations of all facets of subways and SMEE equipment, including but not restricted to air brake systems, electrical systems, and full spectrum knowledge of undercarriage/body construction.
