She completed her residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Pittsburgh, and then did a fellowship in Spinal Cord Injury Medicine at the Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation. Additionally, he has served as co-chief editor of the international, peer reviewed neurorehabilitation journal since 1991 and also as co-chief editor of the official scientific journal of the International Brain Injury Association since 2002. His commitment to education and dissemination is also evident in the many chapters (over 60) and books (8 either as chief editor, coeditor or associate editor) he has been responsible for. He is a member of numerous scientific, honorary and professional societies dealing with his work as a physician focusing on impairment and disability evaluation and treatment, and more specifically, brain injury medicine. He received the Clinical Service Award at the annual Williamsburg conference, the Weinstock award from the Virginia Brain Injury Association and the Shelton Berrol M.D. clinical service award for outstanding contributions to improving clinical services in brain injury from the Brain Injury Association of America. He is also involved with international health care consultation and frequently is asked to serve as a medical expert on brain injury cases. She received her BS in physical therapy from the University of Oklahoma before earning her MHS in orthopedic physical therapy from the University of Indianapolis. She subsequently earned her DPT from A.T. Still University. She actively participates in professional development to stay up to date on the latest practices in the field. This expert is board-certified in orthopaedic physical therapy and is a licensed physical therapist. She is active in her field as a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists. She has formerly served as the director of physical therapy at Northwest Florida Community Hospital and the chief of physical therapy for the United States Air Force. Currently, this expert serves as the owner and orthopaedic physical therapist for a private practice in Virginia.

He received his BS in physical therapy from Georgia State University before earning his DPT from Arcadia University. This expert is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and served formerly as rehabilitation manager, rehabilitation specialty director, and area rehabilitation director at Amedisys Home Health, Inc. Additionally, he was formerly the director of new programs and research at Atlanta Rehabilitation.
