Illinois rehabilitation expert witnesses assess functional capacity, recovery potential, and appropriate care plans after injury or illness. They commonly come from physical medicine and rehabilitation, physical therapy, occupational therapy, and vocational rehabilitation, drawing on practices in Chicago-area academic medical centers and statewide outpatient networks. They evaluate impairment, work restrictions, treatment necessity, and long-term disability projections.
