He completed his Residency in Neurosurgery at Baylor College of Medicine and then went on to complete two prestigious Fellowships. The first in Vascular and Skull Base Surgery at Harvard Medical School and the second in Cerebrovascular and Endovascular Neurosurgery at Emory University. He is an active member of his field both clinically and academically and is a member of multiple medical societies including the Congress of Neurological Surgeons and the American Association of Neurological Surgeons.
