Alabama cauda equina syndrome expert witnesses assess suspected spinal canal compression and urgent neurologic decline. They often are neurosurgeons, orthopedic spine surgeons, emergency physicians, and neuroradiologists with experience in MRI interpretation and decompression timing. Many practice in Birmingham and at UAB Medicine, reflecting Alabama’s regional referral patterns. They evaluate delays in diagnosis, imaging, transfer, and surgical intervention, and resulting bowel, bladder, and motor deficits.
