This expert on Education obtained her BA in Political Science from Antioch College, her MAT in Social Studies from the Indiana University of Bloomington, and her EdD in Urban Education Leadership from the University of Cincinnati. She is a member of the American Association of School Administration and the American Education Research Association. She has 3 Publications and is currently an Education Consultant for a Private Education Consulting Firm.

This qualified expert has over 26 years of experience in school safety and administration. She holds a B.E. in Secondary Education, a M.E. in Curriculum and Instruction, an M.E. in Educational Administration, and an Ed.D., in Educational Administration. Her previous positions include 24 years as a teacher and administrator. Since 2008, she consults and delivers school safety training to educators and law enforcement officials throughout the United States and Canada. In addition to her work as an Associate Professor of Educational Administration at an Ohio university, she is a nationally recognized expert in school safety, crisis management, and violence prevention through her presentations, trainings, and writing.

This highly qualified expert is board certified in behavior analysis and conducts studies on autism spectrum disorders. She received her MS degree in special education from the University of Illinois and her PhD degree from Indiana University. She is a member of the board of directors at the National Autism Society of America and the vice-president at Northwest Indiana Autism Society of America. She has published a dozen peer-reviewed journal articles and is a guest editor for the Journal of Autism and Developmental Issues. She lectures both nationally and internationally and has received multiple honors for her outstanding work, including the Indiana Council of Administrators of Special Education's "Distinguished Service Award". She is the former coordinator of the Indiana LRE initiative and the Integrated and Effective Schools Project at Indiana University, through which she created integrated options for students served in separate facilities. Currently, she is the Director of the Resource Center for Autism at a major university.
