He received his BA in psychology from Occidental College before earning his MA in counseling psychology and marriage & family therapy from the University of San Francisco. He then went on to earn both his MS and PhD in clinical psychology from Palo Alto University. This expert is a licensed psychologist and is certified in child custody evaluation and neuropsychological assessment. He is active in his field as a member of the American Psychological Association, the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts, and the International Council of Psychologists. He has held a number of roles throughout his career, including residential counselor for Optimist Youth Homes and Family Services, a family systems therapist and school counselor for the YMCA Youth Services Bureau, a therapist for Edgewood Center for Children & Families, and a psychologist for CooperRiis Healing Community.
