Oregon rope expert witnesses assess rope selection, rigging methods, and failure mechanisms across industrial and recreational settings. They often come from logging and maritime operations along the Columbia River, climbing and rescue instruction, and engineering or safety management roles. In Oregon’s timber and outdoor recreation economy, they provide grounded technical insight. They commonly evaluate knot integrity, load ratings, abrasion, corrosion, and causation in rope incidents.
