Michigan postoperative infection expert witnesses analyze surgical site infections and hospital-acquired complications across Michigan care settings. They often are board-certified surgeons, infectious disease physicians, infection preventionists, and wound-care nurses from systems like Michigan Medicine and Henry Ford Health. They review perioperative protocols, antibiotic timing, sterile technique, cultures, and sepsis progression to determine causation and preventability.
