This well seasoned former senior engineering associate at Exxon Chemical has almost 60 years of experience in manufacturing of olefin based polymers. During his time at Exxon he was the technical start up leader for a multi-million dollar polypropylene project. In 1994 he founded his own polymers and process engineering consulting company where he has worked with several Fortune 500 companies on process development and scale up, process design, plant problem solving and training. This distinguished scholar is the Head of Chemical & Materials Engineering at his university, a fellow of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers, and a former board of directors member of the National Society of Professional Engineers. Prior to joining academia, he worked for E. I. duPont de Nemours, Conoco, Ethyl, and Kraft where he gained extensive experience in chemical processes that involved alternatives to CFCs, catalyst manufacture, agricultural & pharmaceutical intermediates processing, monomer recovery by depolymerization, ultrafiltration and reverse osmosis of cheese by-products, electromembrane processes, bioethanol production, and numerous food processing operations. He holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from Purdue University and a doctoral degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Oklahoma.

This highly qualified expert earned his BS from Hope College and his PhD in organic chemistry from Indiana University. He has experience in catalyst research in support of polyethylene manufacturing, additive stabilization of polymers, interaction of chemicals with plastics, extrusion production of plastic pipe, plastic pipe material technical service and plastic pipe system component testing. End use applications in which he is a plastics expert include corrugated plastic pipe, water distribution and plumbing systems, oil and gas production, plastic gas pipe, and conduit. In addition, this expert is active in his field as a member of numerous societies including The American Society of Mechanical Engineers, American Gas Association, American Petroleum Institute, Plastic Pipe Institute, and Society of Plastics Engineers. Formerly, he held roles as Pipe Applications and Technical Supervisor at Chevron Phillips Chemical Company and Technical Director at Microbac Hauser Divison. Currently, he is President of a plastics consulting firm.

This qualified expert has nearly 25 years of experience in nephrology. He received his BS in metallurgical engineering and materials science from Carnegie Mellon University before earning his MD from the University of Colorado. He completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver and his fellowship in renal diseases and hypertension at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. This expert is board certified in internal medicine and nephrology and hypertension. He began his career as a clinical nephrologist for Colorado Kidney Associates. He then worked as an electronic medical records consultant for companies like Kaiser Permanente before becoming an assistant professor of medicine in the division of renal diseases and hypertension at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. He has served in many distinguished roles, including the medical director of the hemodialysis unit at the Denver Veteran's Affairs Medical Center and the chief of nephrology at HealthOne Sky Ridge Medical Center. This expert is also heavily involved in research, having authored numerous scientific articles and book chapters concerning nephrology and electronic medical records. Currently, he serves as the director of information technology for a group nephrology practice and a nephrology service teaching attending physician for a residency program in Colorado.
