As a leader in the field of mechanical engineering and safety, his goal is to increase awareness of personal safety issues, while maintaining exacting standards and best practices of the science of personal safety and industrial safety. He is a member of numerous prestigious societies in the field, including the Society for the Advancement of Material and Process Engineering and the Society of Automotive Engineers. Currently, this expert is the principal of a design engineering and safety analysis firm.

This expert has more than 30 years of experience in academia and industry specifically relating to mine design, planning, and optimization. He earned his undergraduate and masters degrees at Ghana University of Science & Technology, and University of Zambia. He also earned his PhD in mining engineering from the University of Alberta. He is a member of such prestigious societies as the American Society of Civil Engineers and is an advisory council member for the Mine Safety and Health Research council.

This qualified expert has over 40 years of experience in planing and developing mining operations. He holds a B.S. in Mining Engineering from West Virginia University and is certified as a Safety and MHSA Instructor. Registered as a Professional Engineer in 25 states, he has worked on projects across the U.S. including projects in South America and Kuwait. Altogether, his experience amounts to nearly $2 billion dollars worth of construction projects. He currently works as Senior Consultant at an engineering consulting firm where he also handles safety and MSHA training.

Exceptional skills in several water resource and environmental specialties including surface-water and groundwater hydrology, hydrogeologic characterization, surface-water/groundwater interaction, contaminant fate and transport in the subsurface and aquatic environment (special emphasis on PCBs, petroleum compounds, industrial chemicals, and mining-related contamination), limnology, water quality, aquatic ecology, aquatic organism passage.
