Ohio firearms expert witnesses analyze weapon function, handling, and ballistic evidence for matters across the state. Many are former law enforcement armorers, forensic firearm examiners, range safety officers, or engineers familiar with Ohio’s hunting culture and urban gun-violence patterns in Cleveland and Columbus. They commonly evaluate accidental discharge claims, trajectory reconstruction, ammunition performance, and safe storage practices.
