He also completed the senior executives program for state and local government at Harvard Kennedy School of Government and the national leadership preparedness initiative program at the Harvard School of Public Health. This expert is active in his field as a member of several organizations, including the FBI National Academy, the International Association of Chiefs of Police, the International Association of Emergency Managers, and the International Association of Financial Crimes Investigators. He spent the majority of his career with the Boston Police Department, starting as a police officer in the Drug Control Unit and eventually becoming the superintendent-in-chief.
