Construction Safety Expert Witnesses in Alabama

This certified safety professional (CSP) and authorized OSHA outreach trainer has been in the occupational safety field for more than a decade. A member of the American Society of Safety Engineers, he earned his Bachelor's degree in Risk Management and Insurance and MBA from the University of Georgia.

This qualified expert received his BA from Valparaiso University and is a licensed OSHA trainer for numerous courses. He has managed various construction safety projects including the installation and modification of industrial equipment valued at over a billion dollars. Formerly, he served as a night safety manager for Gallagher Kaiser at General Motors and as a safety manager for NKC American at Toyota Motor Manufacturing. He currently is the safety manager for a prominent aluminum manufacturer overseeing the installation of a new stamping bed.

This Tennessee based expert entered the waste management industry in 1988, joining the old Browning-Ferris Industries as a District Manager of Environmental, Safety and Health for the Nashville District, covering 22,500 square miles. He was responsible for hiring, training, risk management, claims and compliance with OSHA, DOT and EPA regulations. He later became the Director of Solid Waste for the city of Franklin, TN, where he oversaw the conception and completion of a Municipal Services Complex that included a new 500-ton per day transfer station and 20,000 square foot operations center. He has been a member of the Solid Waste Association of North America for almost twenty years, and is certified to teach in Collections, Transfer Station, Recycling, Integrated Solid Waste Management and Principals of Solid Waste Management. He has written or edited numerous textbooks for the organization.

This qualified engineer obtained his BS in Civil and Structural Engineering and his MS in Management of Technology from Kennesaw State University and Southern Polytechnic State University. He is a certified Professional Engineer and is certified in OSHA requirements and engineering and surveying. He is a member of the National Society of Professional Engineers and the National Academy of Forensic Engineers. He has 8 Publications and is currently a Structural Design and Forensic Engineer at an engineering firm in the southeast. Some of his fields of expertise include forensic/failure and safety analysis, civil/structural design of public and private structures, and construction site accident investigations. A partial list of past subjects addressed include wood/concrete deck collapses, commercial/residential roof damage evaluations, excavation failures/incidents product liability, traffic accident reconstruction, mold source evaluation, construction cost estimating, hydrology/sewer studies, airport consulting, roadway design, geotechnical/subsurface investigations, construction materials failure analysis, structural analysis and design of various material components, scaffolding failures, water damage source evaluation, structural damage inspections, OSHA compliance evaluations, and concrete/asphalt pavement evaluation and design. Has an intimate knowledge of OSHA worksite regulations, and the various national building codes and standards for Industrial, Commercial and Residential structures.
