New Mexico child welfare expert witnesses assess child safety, maltreatment risk, and family functioning across urban and rural communities. They often come from pediatrics, social work, psychology, and foster care administration, with experience in CYFD systems and UNM Health trauma-informed care. They evaluate abuse and neglect indicators, placement decisions, reunification readiness, and standards of care.
