Oregon bicycle safety expert witnesses assess cycling crashes, roadway design, and human factors affecting rider visibility and behavior. They often come from traffic engineering, crash reconstruction, urban planning, and bicycle facility design. Many draw on Oregon DOT standards and Portland’s protected-lane network experience. They commonly evaluate right-of-way compliance, signage and lighting adequacy, helmet and injury mechanics, and safe passing practices.
