This expert has over 30 years of experience researching, alcohol intoxication, sexual violence and domestic violence. He gained his PhD in clinical psychology at the University of Washington. He has served as an associate professor of psychology at SUNY Buffalo and has directed programs in cultural psychology and ethnic studies at the University of Washington. He has published extensively on sexual victimization, alcohol's role in sexual violence, and sexual aggression in relationships.

This expert is a well qualified and experienced drug and alcohol treatment professional. He completed his BA at SUNY, and his MS in clinical mental health counseling and MBA at UNLV. He is a certified addictionologist and a licensed alcohol and drug counselor. He is also active in the field as a member of the State of Nevada Association for Addiction Professionals and serves on the Governor’s Substance Abuse Working Group. He previously was the president and chief operating officer of Sierra Health Services, and was the president and co-founder of an addiction treatment facility called Resolutions. He currently is the regional vice president for a residential drug treatment company in Nevada.

This expert has more than 30 years of experience in the field of campus policing and security. He has lectured and published both nationally and internationally in the fields of negligent security, alcohol abuse, community & public relations, campus police protocol, building security, and more. He has served as an expert witness numerous times in campus cases ranging from murder to assault and rape. He spent most of his career working in public safety and police operations at UMass Boston and San Diego State University, and is currently an Adjunct Professor teaching Criminal Justice Policies.
