This double board certified nurse practitioner has been practicing for over a decade in acute and critical care. A member of many professional nursing societies, including the Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society of Nursing and the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, this expert is also a member of the ANCC Board Examination Acute Care Content Expert Panel and a reviewer for the journal of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Not only is this expert currently an Assistant Professor of both Nursing and Anesthesiology at a major medical university, but he is also the Director of the ACNP program at the same institution.

She earned her BS in health science and community health education from Portland State University prior to earning her BSN from Oregon Health and Science University. She is active in her field as a member of the American Association of Critical Care Nurses and she presents nationwide on topics in the field. Currently, she is a registered nurse in the cardiovascular intensive care unit as well as a clinical instructor of acute care at a university health system in Oregon.

This expert is an experienced RN specializing in perinatal care and neonatal intensive care. She completed her BSN at San Francisco State University and her MSN at Western Governors University. She is certified in neonatal intensive care and is a licensed RN. She is active in the field as a member of the National Association of Neonatal Nurses and the Association of Women Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nursing. She previously was a nurse in NICU’s at Rush University, Kaiser, UCSF Benioff Children’s, and OHSU’s Doernbecher Neonatal Care Unit. She has experience as a bedside nurse, a charge nurse, and a resuscitation and triage nurse attending to newborn resuscitations and codes. She has also worked in a neuro-intensive care nursery that primarily focused on infants suffering from hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy. This expert currently works as a professional development consultant at a medical center, as a nurse educator at a perinatal treatment group, and as an adjunct professor at a university in Oregon.

This expert is certified as a critical care nurse. She is a past-member of the American Association of Legal Nurse Consultants and current with the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses since 2001. She is a former ICU Manager at St. Joseph Hospital in California, and has previously taught ICU/CCU and PCU nursing to new nurses and nursing students. Currently, this expert is a Critical Care Educator and an ICU/CCU Charge Nurse.

This expert is a board-certified surgeon with a clinical fellowship in burn care. He is the director of a regional burn center and he has previously served as the chair for the department of surgery. In addition, he has published articles in the Journal of Burn Care and Rehabilitation.
