He is currently the Director of the Biomechatronics Development Laboratory at a university in CO. He is also a Research Healthcare Scientist for a VA Health Care System, and holds Research Associate Professor appointments in the Departments of Bioengineering and Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation.

He earned his BS from Southern Methodist University and his MD from the University of Texas, Houston. He is a member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and the American Academy of Pain Medicine. This expert previously served as medical director of Kissing Camels Surgery Center, as a physician at Denver Spine and Rehabilitation, and as the president and founder of Interwest Rehabilitation in both Scottsdale, Arizona and Littleton, Colorado. He is currently the president and founder of a private rehabilitation center in Colorado.
