Oregon vertebral artery dissection expert witnesses are typically vascular neurologists, neuroradiologists, and trauma or emergency physicians who diagnose and manage cervical artery injury and posterior circulation stroke. Many practice in Portland’s academic and Level I trauma centers, where high-acuity referrals and imaging protocols shape care. They evaluate CTA/MRA interpretation, symptom onset, causation, and treatment timeliness.
