He earned his BS in resources management from Troy University and completed training in advanced avionics with the United States Navy. He began his career in the trucking industry as an operations manager for E. Ray Watson Company before moving on to Alabama River Companies. During his 21 years with Alabama River Companies, he held various roles such as production supervisor, mill coordinator, product unit area manager and woodyard area manager. He has also previously served as the principal for Hornady Transportation and currently serves as the president of a private business consultancy in Alabama.

This expert has over 50 years of experience in commercial motor carrier and trucking industry. His work in the industry has focused on customary practices, standard of care, tractor-trailers, and compliance and safety training and practices for drivers, motor carriers, warehouses and forklifts.
