Colorado suicide prevention expert witnesses assess suicide risk recognition, safety planning, and clinical decision-making across hospitals, behavioral health, and correctional settings. They often come from psychiatry, psychology, emergency medicine, and nursing, with experience in Colorado’s high-altitude, rural care networks and academic centers like UCHealth. They evaluate screening practices, discharge planning, monitoring, and standards of care after self-harm.
