He earned his BS in sports management from Guilford College and remains active in his field through relevant certifications, including in Sports Event Risk Management. He formerly served as an assistant football coach with Guilford College, a personal trainer at three fitness centers in North Carolina, and a strength and conditioning coach for the Greensboro Monarchs Hockey Club. Most recently, this expert was the owner of the East Coast Fitness Center and the president and owner of National AED Sales, LLC. He now is the owner and president of a sports management group in North Carolina, that specializes in risk management in the athletic and fitness industry. In this role, he performs safety audits on athletic and fitness facilities and has authored a number of safety manuals and training programs designed for athletic directors, health club owners and managers.
