South Carolina residential construction expert witnesses assess home building practices across the Lowcountry and Upstate, where coastal moisture, hurricanes, and expansive soils drive performance demands. They often come from licensed general contracting, structural engineering, building inspection, and construction management backgrounds. These experts evaluate code compliance, workmanship, scheduling, and cost reasonableness, and opine on defect causation, water intrusion, and repair scope.
