Plastic Surgery Expert Witnesses in Pennsylvania

This qualified expert of Pediatric Plastic Surgery obtained her BA in Biology cum laude from Harvard College and her MD in Medicine from Upstate Medical University in Syracuse. She completed her internship and Residency in General Surgery at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, her Residency in Plastic Surgery at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, and her Fellowship in Craniofacial Surgery at the Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC. Over the past few years, he has had the opportunity to develop an adult peripheral nerve and post traumatic brachial plexus injury practice, through which he has been able to employ the latest in nerve repair and transfer techniques, as well as tendon transfer techniques. These patients will be evaluated at the new Center for Nerve Disorder at a major PA Medical Center, opening this fall. He plays a very active role in the VCA (vascularized composite allotransplantation) lab and also has an interest in peripheral nerve research. Among his many clinical interests, he is involved with clinical outcome studies regarding hand transplant patients.

This board-certified ophthalmologist specializes in orbital and oculofacial plastic surgery, including orbital decompression, face lifting and contouring, and endonasal skull base surgery. He earned his BS in biology from the University of Texas, Arlington and his MD from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. He then went on to complete his post-graduate medical training with an internal medicine internship at the Johns Hopkins Hospital, an ophthalmology residency at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, and an orbital and oculofacial plastic surgery fellowship at the University of California, Los Angeles. He has authored 9 publications and given 16 presentations on topics in his field. He currently holds positions as an attending orbital and oculoplastics surgeon at an eye hospital, an ophthalmologist at a hospital and medical center, and a clinical professor of ophthalmology at a medical school, all located in Pennsylvania.
