Iowa physical therapy expert witnesses assess rehabilitation standards, functional capacity, and patient safety across outpatient clinics, hospitals, and skilled nursing settings. Many are licensed PTs with backgrounds in orthopedics, neurology, geriatrics, and return-to-work care. Their experience often reflects Iowa’s rural access challenges and referral patterns tied to UI Health Care. They evaluate appropriateness of treatment plans, documentation, progression, and causation of mobility limitations.
