Oregon metallurgist expert witnesses analyze metals and alloys to explain how components perform and why they fail. Many are corrosion engineers, welding and fabrication specialists, or materials scientists with experience supporting Oregon’s ship repair and manufacturing along the Columbia River corridor. They commonly evaluate fracture mechanics, fatigue, heat treatment, and corrosion-related failures in industrial equipment and infrastructure.
