Injury biomechanics expert witnesses analyze how forces, motions, and body mechanics contribute to injuries in real-world incidents. Often trained in mechanical engineering, biomedical engineering, or kinesiology, they evaluate impact severity, injury causation, occupant kinematics, product design, and whether events are consistent with claimed injury patterns.
