Texas informed consent expert witnesses assess whether clinicians provided patients clear, timely disclosure of risks, benefits, and alternatives before treatment. They often are physicians, surgeons, anesthesiologists, or nurses with experience in large Texas systems like the Texas Medical Center. They evaluate consent practices for diverse, high-volume care settings. These experts commonly opine on documentation, capacity, language access, and procedure-specific risk communication.
