This highly qualified expert has over 25 years of experience in the field of biomechanics. He received his AA from Brevard College before earning both his BS and MA at Western Carolina University. He subsequently earned his PhD in biomechanics from Auburn University. He is active in his field as a member of the South Carolina Association for Physical Education and Sport, the South Carolina Alliance for Health, Physical Education, Recreation, & Dance, the Council of Healthcare Advisors, and the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine. He is also highly involved in research, having authored numerous peer-reviewed articles and serving as a manuscript reviewer for 11 biomechanics and sports science journals. Currently, this expert is an adjunct professor of bioengineering at a South Carolina university, an adjunct clinical research professor of orthopaedics and orthopaedic surgery for two South Carolina medical schools, and a professor of health and human performance at a South Carolina college.

This expert earned his BS in Kinesiology from Colorado State University and his MS in Exercise Science from the University of Central Missouri. 19 of his 23 years spent as a football coach have been at the college level, where he has held several assistant coaching positions and administrative roles in the athletic department. He earned his Ph.D. in Parks, Recreation and Tourism at the University of Utah following an M.S. in Sports Medicine & Movement Studies and Disabilities at Oregon State University and a Bachelor's of Physical Education in Athletic Training & Special Education from Brock University. The expert is a member of the National Recreation and Park Association, the National Intercollegiate Soccer Officials Association, and the United States Soccer Federation. In addition, he served as Associate Editor of The Journal of Youth Sport. He has authored 20+ peer-reviewed publications related to his field. He has served in multiple research, program director, and instructor positions in both the public and private sectors. He is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Parks Recreation and Tourism Management at a major research university in South Carolina.
