Prior to retirement, this expert was Chief of Police of the Waterbury Police Department, where this this expert helped to develop crime prevention and community policing strategies and ended three consecutive years with a budget surplus. This expert has won several awards, including Humanitarian Award, Police Officer of the Year and Person of the Year Award, from local community organizations. He received his BS in biomedical engineering and his MHS in biochemistry and molecular biology from Johns Hopkins University. He then went on to earn his MD from Avalon University School of Medicine before completing his residency in internal medicine at Hackensack Meridian Health Mountainside Medical Center and his fellowship in hospital medicine at Yale-New Haven Health Bridgeport Hospital.
