He earned his BA in economics from the State University of New York at Oneonta, and his MA and PhD in economics and finance from the University of Pennsylvania. He is active in his field through his memberships in the American Economic Association, Financial Management Association, and American Statistical Association. Additionally, he has published extensively in his field. He has formerly held high ranking positions such as the chief economist and vice president of finance at the John Hancock Mutual Life Insurance Company, the managing director of financial and economic research at IBM World Trade Corporation and the chairman of Pace University's finance department. He currently works as a consulting economist for a New York based consulting company.

This expert has over 40 years of experience in marketing across various industries, with experience in financial services, economic damages, restructuring, bankruptcy, and fiduciary duties. He earned his BS in business administration and management from Indiana University. He has worked as a business consultant since 1990 focused on sales, marketing, and project management. He also served as Chief Economist and Senior Policy Adviser in the Office of the New York City Comptroller for 13 years. He has taught MBA level courses on Corporate Social Responsibility, Finance and Economics at NYU's Stern School of Business, Baruch College, and Pace University.
