Maryland dog bite expert witnesses assess injury mechanisms, infection risk, and standards of care in emergency, surgical, and rehabilitative settings. They often come from trauma surgery, plastic surgery, emergency medicine, infectious disease, and animal behavior. Many practice within Baltimore’s academic medical centers and suburban urgent-care networks. They evaluate causation, wound management, scarring, disability, and long-term prognosis.
