This highly qualified expert has been involved in the construction services industry for over 30 years. He is a licensed general contractor and real estate broker in North Carolina. He has previously led community engagement and business development efforts for Kellog Brown and Root’s commercial construction unit and has extensive experience in construction supply-chain operations and government / corporate diverse and small business inclusion programs. Additionally, he has worked as a director of two higher education business development programs focused on small business diversity. Currently, he is a consultant for and the former Vice President of Business Development and Community Affairs for a construction services company in North Carolina.

He is a certified property manager and commercial investment member and holds his real estate sales license in California. He is active in his field as a member of several organizations, including the National Investment Center for Senior Housing, the Rental Housing Association, and the National Association of Realtors. He has formerly served as the vice president and director of marketing for VandenBerghe Properties, regional property manager of Porta Management Group, vice president of residential services for Ray Stone Incorporated, and regional vice president for Sunrise Management. Currently, this expert provides real estate services and consulting for a private consulting practice in Tennessee.

This expert is the Lead Land Use Attorney at the Land Use and Sustainable Development Law Clinic and Associate Professor of Law at a the top law school in West Virginia. Before joining his current institution, this expert was an associate professor in urban affairs and planning at Virginia Tech, teaching land use law, environmental law, and real estate. His research and experience focuses on land use law. Prior to his academic endeavors, this expert was in private practice in Virginia.
