He earned his BA in general science, zoology, chemistry, and physics from the University of Iowa and his BS in perfusion technology from the University of Texas-Houston. He is board certified in cardiovascular perfusion. He is active in his field as a member of the American Academy of Cardiovascular Perfusion and the American Society of Extracorporeal Technology. This expert is also highly involved in research, having presented numerous scientific presentations and lectures and authored scientific articles and several perfusion clinical and quality improvement policies and procedures.
