This highly qualified expert is board certified in General Surgery and Colon and Rectal Surgery. He earned his BS from Oklahoma State University and his MD from New York Medical College. He completed a residency in General Surgery and fellowship in Colon and Rectal Surgery at LSU. He is a veteran of the US Army and while in the Army, he served as Chief of Professional Services before moving to a major university medical center. He is well published, with over a dozen peer reviewed journal articles and numerous presentations. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Creighton University and her Master of Science in Nursing/Nurse Practitioner from University Nebraska Medical Center. She is not only a nurse practitioner but also a certified bariatric nurse. She is currently a nurse practitioner in bariatric surgery as well as the bariatric surgery coordinator at a major medical center specializing in weight management. She is responsible for all the education to all bariatric surgery patients, staff in the hospital and surrounding communities in regards to bariatric surgery (or other weight management topics) and is the Leader of the Bariatric Surgery Staff.

This qualified expert who is a Life Care Planner and an MD, obtained his BS in Zoology from the University of Wyoming and his MD from Creighton University. He completed his internship and Residency in General Surgery and his Fellowship in Surgical Critical Care medicine at the University of Missouri-Columbia and his Fellowship in Trauma at the Oregon Health Sciences University. He has been Board Certified in Surgery and Surgical Critical Care Medicine and is Certified in Life Care Planning and Mediation. He is a member of multiple Trauma and Surgical medical Associations and has 50+ Publications on Surgery Research. She received her BA from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, before going on to get her MD at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center- San Antonio. She completed a general surgery residency at the University of Nebraska Medical Center and then completed a research fellowship in the department of pediatric surgery at the Children's Hospital of Wisconsin. She then completed her clinical fellowship in critical care at Washington University. She is an active contributor to her field with numerous publications and several presentations and is a member of multiple organizations, including, the Society of Critical Care Medicine, the Eastern Association for the Surgery of Trauma and the Association of Women Surgeons. She formerly served as a shift physician for Omaha EMS and currently serves as an professor in the department of general surgery, trauma, critical care and emergency surgery at a university in Nebraska. Clinically, she serves as the director of emergency general surgery, trauma and critical care at a university-affiliated medical center.

Al Barqawi, MD, FRCS, is an Associate clinical Professor and Lecturer in the Division of Urology at University of Colorado School of medicine. Dr. Barqawi also serves as Director of Research in the Section of Urologic Oncology. He has expertise in urologic oncology and general Urology primarily in prostate disease, early detection, novel imaging and treatment applications and epidemiology. He is interested in men’s health research, particularly sexual function and testosterone effect on general health. He also acts as the Principal Investigator for several national research projects. He pioneered 3D imaging of the prostate gland and focal targeted therapy for prostate cancer. He performed the first focal interstitial laser therapy of the prostate in the US. He also initiated the first phase I study for intra-prostatic injection of Botox for the treatment of BPH. He published more than 100 peer reviewed articles and book chapters. He presented at many national and international meetings. He is also an elected member of the Editorial Board for several national and international medical journals. He serves regularly on the scientific committees for National science foundation and department of defense grant meetings.

He is also the Program Director for the General Surgery Residency Program.
