This qualified expert has over 20 years of experience in exercise science and athletic training. He earned his BS in exercise science from Central Washington University and his MS in human movement from A.T. Still University School of Osteopathic Medicine. This expert holds multiple certifications including as a TPI level 2 fitness professional, strength and conditioning specialist, corrective exercise specialist, and level 2 nutrition coach. Additionally, he is active in his field as a member of the American College of Sports Medicine and has taken part in multiple professional development programs. Formerly, he served as a strength and conditioning coach at Central Washington University, a student athletic trainer and assistant power lifting coach at Auburn High School, and as a personal trainer at both Pure Fitness and Callaway Fitness. He completed his residency in orthopedic surgery and rehabilitation at Loyola University, followed by two fellowships. His first fellowship was in shoulder and elbow at Washington University School of Medicine, and his second fellowship was in sports medicine at the Kerlan-Jobe Orthopedic Clinic. He is a member of several prestigious societies including the American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons and the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine.
