California amputation expert witnesses bring clinical and rehabilitative insight to injury and limb-loss disputes across the state. They often come from orthopedic surgery, vascular surgery, trauma care, and prosthetics and rehabilitation programs at major California academic medical centers. Their work reflects California’s high-volume trauma systems and diverse patient populations. They evaluate causation, standard of care, surgical decision-making, prosthetic needs, and long-term functional outcomes.
