Airport Expert Witnesses in Kentucky

This expert has 50 years of experience in the field of transportation engineering, focused on pavement design and construction for airports, seaports, and highways. He earned his BS in civil engineering from the City College of New York and licensed as a professional engineer in multiple states. As a consultant he has performed project management, pavement evaluation and design, and forensic studies for over 700 projects at approximately 200 airports throughout the United States and 22 locations internationally including major international airports such as JFK, Washington-Dulles, and Chicago O’Hare. Prior to his position as a consultant, he worked with the FAA as a project engineer and pavement engineer of the Eastern region, as well as the chief engineer of the Washington Airports District Office, where he was involved in the research and development program focused on airport pavements. Currently, he is the president of an engineering firm that works on large scale airport and highway construction throughout the world.

This expert has extensive experience in naval security and the international and domestic defense industry. He earned his BS in mechanical engineering from the US Naval Academy. During his 37-year career with the Navy, he served as a senior naval officer, as a director of warfare requirements, and as a military commander for the Iceland Defense Force. This expert then went on to serve as the corporate direction of naval aviation programs at Lockheed Martin and as the director of business development at Raytheon. Currently, this expert serves as the president of an independent defense industry consultancy in Virginia.

This expert frequently teaches League of American Bicyclists classes at Wright Dunbar Interpretative Center and Wright State University in Ohio. He worked with the Aviation Heritage National Park Rangers to set up the nationally recognized "Bike with a Ranger" historical bicycling tour program and continues to train National Park Service Rangers involved with the program prior to their program participation. He is currently a chairman of the Ohio Bicycle Federation, where he helped push bicycle safety legislature into laww, Vice President of an Ohio cycling club, and an active member of the USA Cycling Association. He is also active in the "Dayton Safe Kids" project on the wheeled activities committee, where he works to ensure proper rules are in place to ensure the safety of children on the road. HE has represented cycling on the National Committee for Uniform Traffic Laws and Ordinances (NCUTLO). In this position, he worked with League of American Bicyclists representative to update the Uniform Vehicle Code regarding cycling.

This highly-qualified aircraft valuations expert has 40 years of experience in the aviation industry. He earned his BA in aviation management from Southern Illinois University and holds certifications as a senior aircraft appraiser, an airframe and power plant mechanic, an FAA authorized inspector, and aircraft buyer's agent. He is active in his field as a member of the EAA. This expert began his career in aviation as a member of the aircraft maintenance crew in the United States Air Force. He then served as an aircraft mechanic at Crystal Lake Airport, avionics installation and package engineer at Hartzog Aviation before starting his tenure with American Airlines. He worked for American Airlines for 32 years in a variety of roles, including line maintenance mechanic, senior instructor in aircraft maintenance, aircraft maintenance production supervisor, and the aircraft maintenance production and shift manager. Currently, he is the president and owner of an aircraft maintenance and appraisal corporation based in Illinois.
