Utah airline expert witnesses analyze commercial aviation operations, maintenance, and safety compliance across the state’s air-transport network. Many are former airline pilots, aerospace engineers, FAA-certified mechanics, or airport operations leaders with experience at Salt Lake City International Airport. They assess duty-time practices, aircraft performance, maintenance records, weather decision-making, and runway or ground-handling conditions.
