Questions to the Insurance expert and their responses
Please describe your experience with the insurance market.
I have taught insurance and conducted research on the insurance market, both the US market and the international market, for 19+ years. I have held teaching positions as a professor of risk management and insurance at various universities and have published dozens of works focusing on both domestic and international insurance markets. I have spoken on these topics at professional conferences and was named one of the most prolific authors in the leading risk management and insurance journals.
What materials would you need to provide an estimation of business performed by domestic insurance companies opposed to out-of-state insurance companies?
I have access to the annual NAIC filings and can provide analysis on the amount of business performed by both state and foreign insurers. I rely heavily on this kind of data for my research and am able to retrieve data from ten years ago as well.
