This case involves the multi-million dollar art collection that belonged to the estate of an elderly couple that passed away. A substantial portion of the couple’s collection was comprised of contemporary paintings and sculpture. An expert in art appraisal was sought to review the couple’s collection and determine the approximate value of the collection as a whole as well as the value of each piece.

The bulk of my work is in the appraisal of corporate and museum art collections. I have also worked with collections of furniture for corporations, offices, and auction houses and in residential appraisals. Generally, I complete appraisals within three weeks.
Expert Bio:
For 25+ years, this expert has been engaged in the appraisal of colonial to contemporary silver, furniture, ceramics, maps, paintings, and sculpture. She completed postgraduate studies with a Christie’s-associated program in Europe and has appraised collections for the Masterworks Museum of Bermuda Art, Marriott Bermuda, the Bank of Butterfield, and has submitted appraisals to numerous public institutions including the White House, the Smithsonian in Washington D.C., the Menil Collection, and the Museum of Fine Art in Houston. This expert has also worked closely with the Bermuda National Gallery’s collections of furniture, European paintings, and the Bacardi Biennial.
