Formerly, he has held many positions throughout his career including natural resources biologist, environmental specialist, and regional chief of the wetlands and waterways program for the Maryland Department of the Environment. He then served as a natural resources planner at the Chesapeake Bay Critical Areas Commission and then became the director of environmental services for both Soltesz, Inc. and Whitman Requart & Associates, LLP. He is currently the principal of his own environmental consulting firm out of Maryland.
